What To Expect (Itinerary)
our expert tour guide will pick you up from Luxor airport or your hotel in Luxor,
drive in comfort to Luxor train station to take the first class A/C seated train to Aswan,
arrive to Aswan such charming city famous by the Nubian culture
start our first tour and visit the great Philae island temple by sailing motor boat,
which was built in the honor of Goddess Isis the chief deity of the island,
move to visit the famous Aswan high dam,an engineering miracle built in 1960 protecting Egypt from annual floods from the Nile,
next we going to visit the unfinished obelisk which shows the techniques used by the ancient Egyptians to cut obelisks. Most probably this obelisk belongs to Queen Hatshepsut,one of the rulers of the 18th Dynasty and the royal wife of king Tuthmosis II. This queen was the owner of her Temple in the eastern bank of Luxor
have yourdelicious Egyptian lunch in local restaurant,
now it is time to relax and enjoy the splendid natural views of Aswan river Nile by sailing traditional felucca to see the botanical garden and Aghakhan mausoleum (from outside)
